A glimpse of the second gen X-Box 360

A lot of people have been wondering why Microsoft never released the X-Box 360 with the HDMI port enabled, it’s also me a matter of some debate whether or not Microsoft would ever get around to it. Well it appears the time has come. Engadget scored photos of what appears to be the next generation system, complete with a functional HDMI port and full 1080p compatibility. Code named the Zephyr, it’s also rumored the new console will come with a 120GB drive and a cooler 65nm processor. With more and more game builders creating games in HD the new console comes just in time. There’s no word on price or availability but the Engadget source seemed to think it would be “soon”.
