Are we really alone in the galaxy?

I was just messing around this evening and a friend of mine just sent me a link to this photo documentary of sorts. It’s not too long and will totally blow your mind trying to imagine the vastness of what the author is trying to depict. In all that space there has to be something that equates to “life”. I can’t figure out a decent way to embed it so you’ll have to follow the link but it’s worth it. Digg it if you like it.
