Wordpress Plugin: Preview Post Navigation

Download
You can download the plugin here.
Requirements
This is a Wordpress 2.1.x plugin, there is no need for it in previous versions. It’s been tested with Firefox 2.0.0.3 and IE6.
Installation:
Upload the plugin to your “blog/wp-contents/plugins” directory
Go to the “Plugins” main menu and find “Preview Post Nav”, then click “Activate”
That’s all there is to it. The links will appear when you edit an existing post or once you save/save & edit a new post since there was no preview pane in the new post screen in 2.1.x.
Please leave feedback or if you have an issue using it, leave a comment in this post and I’ll do my best to help you out. If your feeling especially generous a quick link to RealityWired(http://www.realitywired.com) or ItsOnMyTV (http://www.itsonmytv.com) would be greatly appreciated.

This is great. I really missed those links. Now I don’t have to keep scrolling up and down the page anymore. I have no idea why they removed them in the first place.
Anyway, thank you very much for this. :)
Thank you so much for this. Definitely a timesaver. Apparently the wp developers have a lot of time if they don’t need those thinks.
You should rename it the “What does Matt Cutts Want?” plugin, a bit like the Seth Godin one.
LOL. I suppose I could but I got the idea from Lorelle so I’d have to name it “What Does Lorelle Want?” Sorry Matt, just have to take a back seat this time.. {wink}
Thanks a google-zillion for this plugin. Like Lorelle, I found the absence of “preview” and “edit” links a big pain. Now I’m pain free again! Peace.
Sure don’t mention it. Thanks for the comments, I hope it helps out a little bit.
Bless you for this plugin. I posted about this at the support forum & never discovered a way to replace the navigation feature. I still can’t figure out what the developers were thinking when they removed it unless they think that everyone uses WYSIWYG & doesn’t need this link/button.
Anyway, thanks for restoring an extremely useful feature & thanks to Lorelle for suggesting that you do so.
Glad it helps you out. This plugin probably doesn’t work in the new version of Wordpress 2.2. There is now a preview link that opens a new browser window to get the preview.
This is a great plugin. This type of is priceless for the new kid on the block.
Thanks
Vic
Thank you for the plugin. I thought I was getting crazy when I updated the WordPress and didn’t see the preview image on the bottom. I really didn’t like the change they made. You saved my life. Great plugin. :)
Now that WP 2.2 has removed the inline preview feature I’ve just installed a plugin that restores it. But yr plugin no longer works with it as it used to. Should it? Is there any way you know that I can get yr plugin working w. the Preview Frame plugin?
