Science Geek Builds 16 Foot Tesla Coil In Backyard

This is pretty cool. Kevin Eldridge is so into lightning he built a 16 foot Tesla Coil in his backyard. I wonder what the neighbor though when he fired it up? Check out the video for more.

This is a weird hobby. He is playing with lightning! Having said that, I found it fascinating. The DC/AC debate is one of the greatest scientific spats and it suddenly popping up now brings back a lot of memories. Thanks for the video.
