The rich and famous always have to have something to spend their money on, the more outlandish the better. Such was the case with the gold plated iPhone and the diamond encrusted iPhone. But those are just examples of what happens when you have too much money and not enough stuff to spend it on. Everybody who’s anybody knows that when it comes to practicality and style there’s just no replacement for that “little black dress“.

By most standards it’s not cheap either, weighing in at a modest $2,000 but compared to some of those other luxury iPhones it’s a steal and probably less likely to get you mugged.

IntoTheBox.tv spent some time talking to New yorkers about their cellphones and how they use them. A good deal of it surrounded the iPhone and the policies that have recently been implemented. The video clip talks to a couple people about how they feel about Apple forcing them to use a credit card to purchase a phone in order to track what they are doing with it (ie: trying to deter unlocking). The opinions are about what you’d expect but it always interesting to get the perspective from your Average Joe off the street. Here’s another asinine gadget for your iPhone. Ok, while, technically they’re not a gadget they’re still a ridiculous notion that will be lapped up by the ubergeeks just so they can sport them off to their friends. Phone fingers or finger condoms as seems more appropriate allows you to use your iPhone while protecting it from fingerprints. Yeah, ok, when I had my demo phone that was freaking annoying, I kept having to wipe the glass on my jeans so it would be clean. While the phone fingers might keep your iPhone glass clean, they’ll make you look like some bastardized child of Freddie Krueger at best and worst they get your ass beat in the locker room during gym class.
