McMurray Trims A Shrub To Win Daytona

After Stewart and Earnhardt Jr. got into early trouble, there wasn’t much reason to watch this race, so I slept through a good bit of it. The last 50 laps were pretty good, for a Daytona race anyway. I was happy to see Jamie McMurray win, but I’d been happy with anyone but either of the Bush brothers. I loved Shrub’s post race interview where he said his “team mates” wouldn’t work with him much. I got news for the kid, he needs to grab a dictionary and learn to spell the team because last time I checked there was no “I” in team. There is an M & E (ME) so that must be his interpretation because everything is always about him. Just because he can drive every lap like he’s in a sprint car on a dirt track don’t make him the greatest thing that ever drove a race car. I’m sure Gordon and Johnson won’t be missing his “help” when they get back to Daytona in February.
