R2-D2 Humilated Again, Turned Into A Trashcan

Ever since the shiny silver & blue droid was introduced everybody has always jokingly referred to the little guy as a trashcan. Over the years R2-D2 has been made into all kinds of gadgets and gizmos. Recently a disturbing trend has emerged. It seems the R2-D2 has fallen out of the good graces of gadget designers and he’s being used for all sorts of humiliating things like a Soy Sauce bottle and now a R2-D2 trashcan. Really, has this not shown up before now in all these years? Can you imagine the original thinking it must have took to dream this one up? If your a Star Wars fanatic you gotta have this one.

I warn you though, this is one expensive trashcan. ThinkGeek has the R2-D2 Trashcan on sale for $99 (regular price $149). Damn, for that price it should pick the trash up for you and take it out.

R2-D2 Humiliated, Maybe Committed Suicide

Remember a while back we told you about the plot by the Empire to assassinate R2-D2? I always wondered why the droid would volunteer to take a ride on the maiden voyage of an X-wing built by a bunch of crazy rocketeers. After seeing this I know why. Everybody’s favorite droid had to be so humiliated that he probably tipped off the Empire to the launch of the experimental rocket. I can’t say that I blame him, if someone tried to get me into a Soy Sauce bottle I’d probably want to die in a flaming ball of fire too.
