iPhone 3G: iPhone OS 2.0 Unlocked
July 11th, 2008 • Related • Filed Under

Well isn’t this special. Those cave dwelling, Mt. Dew drinking code gurus over at iPhone Dev Team have jailbreaked the new iPhone 2.0 OS before it’s officially available online. How’s that for being proactive. So now all of you hating on AT&T can maybe take your phone to another carrier.
Now that the official iPhone OS 2.0 is out, the iPhone Dev Team will release their Pwnage tool for everyone to unlock and jailbreak their iPhones soon.
Word is the crew has been hard at work on this since the early betas of the 2.0 software and have had it working for a couple of days now. I guess we can expect a lock closing update to be forthcoming just anytime.
