LEGO Airbus A380

You gotta love them LEGOs and I admire the people that not only have the time & energy but the creativeness to put together a scaled LGO model from thin air. Here’s a perfect example. Someone used 75,000 bricks to make this 9.5 foot long 1:25 scale Airbus A380. Awesome dude!

Wasting Time On YouTube With Airbus A380 Videos

I was nosing around YouTube and ran across a video of the new Airbus A380 so I figured what better way to spend the weekend than watching a few videos of this gigantic aircraft. It’s really incredible how big this airplane is.
First up is an A380 landing at JFK. What’s so cool about this is the video got a great capture of the wings flexing as all the lift went away as the plane touches down.
Next we have an A380 tailstrike while performing a minimum velocity takeoff. Easy there guys.
Airbus A380 landing at LAX. The camera dude looks like he just came from a Paris Hilton party but the clip is pretty cool. Watch the plane actually slide sideways as it touches down, about 1:125 into the clip.
There are some pilots you just want flying your plane and if I have to be in such a situation that requires extreme piloting skills, I think I might want this guy flying me around. A380 performs a crosswind landing, pretty impressive if you ask me.
Just an up close look at this monster of an aircraft. It really is amazing how big the A380 is.
