Origin Of Crop Circles Revealed
I live on a farm, we grow corn and I can honestly say I’ve never seen a crop circle in any of the fields. However, they’re featured in magazines, movies and the tall tales told by farmers of old and that got me to wondering, where do crop circles really come from? Well, after a fair amount of searching I found the answer. Rumor has it “Alien” spent his downtime between movies putt-putting around corn fields.

Life Size Alien Statue
I just watched the movie Aliens again the other day. It’s been awhile so it was entertaining and different sense now. The models used in the movie were so cheesy it was almost comical, but entertaining no the less. Here’s another entertaining piece from the movie series, a life size model of an Alien. I bet he makes a great door prop at the Halloween party.

Wickedly Cool LEGO Aliens Scenes
People have been building some wickedly cool stuff with LEGO’s lately. Mike Yoder is a apparently a big Aliens fan and he’s created a bunch of dioramas depicting scenes from the movie. I’ve included a few photos, notice how Mike worked the lighting to give the photos that realistic feel to them. Sort of like the LEGO men are stuck on a deep space transport ship being stalked by blood thirsty aliens. Yeah, they look exactly like that. Be sure to check out the whole gallery at Brickshelf.
