DeWalt M-16 Nail Gun

You gotta love the ingenuity of people sometimes. One Dave Wiggins was sitting around one day wondering what he should. After a little bit o thought, some inspiration and a trip to the local Dewalt factory service center, Dave came up with this most excellent rendition of a Dewalt M-16 Nail Gun.

Dave says, “I’d just picked up a new (to me) M-16 and was in the process of fixing it up a little. It needed new furniture anyway, so I sourced the safety yellow stock, guard, and grip. Then, I went down to the DeWalt factory service place a few miles from the house to get a sticker. There, I saw they had brand new battery casings, so I picked up one of those too. I got home, found a short magazine , and got to work.

That’s freaking cool stuff right there.

StumbleUpon Sexy Babes, Boobs and Buns

Not much need for chit-chat, it’s about 105 degrees around here and getting motivated to do anything is tough, luckily we have StumbleUpon to pass the time waiting for this rare phenomenon some people call rain. Here’s a little tribute to some of the more fanciful finds in recent days (completely unintentional of course). Photos should be mostly safe for work. Lots of photos after the jump.

If you liked this post consider Stumbling it or bookingmarking wiht one of the sites below.

2008 Aston Martin DBS - Pure Automotive Porn

aston-martin-dbs-1.jpg

I don’t do a lot of cars and few exotics really get my attention unless of course it’s a Ferrari, but the 2008 Aston Martin DBS is one hot ride and one that would make James Bond lush with envy. In fact, I believe this is the production model of the car 007 wrecked in Casino Royale. The curves on this coupe are as sleek and slender as any you’d find on the most curvaceous Bond girl and it’s certain the driver can easily get lost in a moment with this car.

Sporting a high performance 6.0 litre race engineered V-12, sleek lines, a mix of performance technology and hand crafted design, the Aston Martin DBS is sure to get any car enthusiasts motor running. Here’s a few photos from the Aston Martin website to get those juices flowing.

Batman Tumbler Built From LEGO’s

While not on the scale of the LEGO Aircraft Carrier, this model is still pretty neat. It’s a replica of the Batmobile, called The Tumbler, from the last Batman movie (Batman Begins). It’s pretty neat, check out the images below.

Williams F1 Car Vs. BMW M5 - Wanna Guess Who Wins?

williams-f1-vs-bmw-m5.jpg

This was wickedly cool. Fifth Gear’s Tiff & Vicki race each other with Vicki driving a BMW M5 and Tiff in a Williams Formula 1 race car. Both cars have v-10 engines, 7 speed gear boxes and a top speed over 200 mph. Think you know who wins? Check out the video to find out, it’s not even close.

These Girls Give Your Lawn A Bikini Cut

tiger-time-lawn-care-bikini-cut.jpg

This was just too good to pass up. If you live in the Memphis area and your not into the whole yard work thing, preferring rather to hire a professional to keep that lawn looking fresh and green, you might want to check out a company called Tiger Time Lawn Care whose lovely ladies will give your yard a hell of a bikini cut. Here’s a few photos from the companies website of the ladies getting serious about their work. If you think about it, it’s a great marketing gimick. There’s dozens of bikini car washes around during the summer but babes and mowers, not so much. It would definitely cause people passing by to take notice and probably remember the name as well. Landscaping or mowing services is a high profile niche so being able to separate your service from the competition is important. Brand building, being noted from something unique, that’s a key to being successful right there.

Download Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows

hp.jpg

Did you get your copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at midnight? Have you been reading since you got it? Do you know who lives and who dies yet? Do you care? As far as book series go, you have to admit, it’s been a great ride for J.K. Rowling but I wonder just what she must feel knowing it’s really over now? Rarely do concepts such as this take on a life of their own but this one sure did and it’s spawned a whole cult following and even managed to get itself added to the “banned books” list in virtually every school library.

Soon enough it’ll be common knowledge what happens to the main characters. We’ve been teased with the rumors of multiple deaths and no doubt it won’t be long before those are revealed and the hype will subside. Some apparently can’t wait to get the word out, as the 759 page book has apparently been photographed and turned into an ebook, and made available on multiple torrent sites. There’s also rumor of a typed version is floating around as well.

I’m not one to really support the pirating movement, unless of course it’s some Microshaft is peddling, but if your less scrupulous than I am or your just bored, have a go at The Pirate Bay. A search of Harry Potter - The Death Hallows” should turn up some reasonable results for you. For everyone else who believes good work should be justly rewarded, get your copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows from Amazon now.

LEGO Aircraft Carrier: Ready To Defend A Small Country

lego-carrier-01.jpg

LEGO’s! The greatest toy ever invented. I built all kinds of things with them when I was a kid and my son has tons of them too. Some of the newest models are wickedly cool but this has to be one of the coolest, if not the coolest model I’ve ever seen. Created from an idea, weighing roughly 350lbs, using 300,000 LEGO bricks and taking over a year to build, it’s a scale model of the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman complete with electrical lights on the deck, hangar, aircraft, movable elevators, radar dishes and a motorized catapult.

Play World Of Warcraft On An iPhone

This was pretty cool, in a sort of devilish kind of way. This guy used an app called Telekinesis to stream a WOW game running on his laptop to his iPhone. Close but no cigar. Still for the unawares or those that are blinded by the magic of such things, it’s wonderous and awesome and crazy all rolled up into one. Ok. Maybe not
