DIY Iron Man Repulsor Light

A couple of DIYers dreamed up this Iron Man Repulsor Light like the one created by Tony Stark in the movie. Carlos at Carlos Contraptions created sci-fi looking gadget from a palm mounted ultra-bright LED flashlight and some aluminum. This might make a great addition to those Iron Man costumes that are sure to be running around come Halloween.

DIY Helicopter For $3000
Hey, remember the guy in Nigeria that made the homemade helicopter out of spare parts? Well here’s a guy in China that made a homemade helicopter with just $3000. The downside is, it’s taken him nearly 10 years to get it completed and he just started test flights a few months ago. Check out the helipcopter in action.

Dude Builds Homemade Helicopter Out Of Bicycle, Car Parts And A 747

Now here’s an enterprising fellow. A 24 year old Nigerian Physics undergrad built himself a helicopter out of bicycle parts, car parts and a crashed Boeing 747.
The chopper… is made from scrap aluminium that Abdullahi bought with the money he makes from computer and mobile phone repairs, and a donation from his father, who teaches at Kano’s Bayero university.
It is powered by a second-hand 133 horsepower Honda Civic car engine and kitted out with seats from an old Toyota saloon car. Its other parts come from the carcass of a Boeing 747 which crashed near Kano some years ago.
