Jet Fighter Meets Fire Truck

Here’s a firetruck that Batman himself could be proud of. In a particularly bizarre display of technology gone awry some enterprising fire fighters (and weekend jet fighter hobbyists) who were constantly late to fire scenes decided to fix their response problem by adding the jet engine from a Russian MiG fighter to the truck. The melding was accomplished by removing the water and fuel tanks making this “the largest turbine motor in a land vehicle anywhere in the world”. So even if they can’t put the fire out at least they can get there quickly.
Two thoughts come to mind. The first on is why (so of like climbing a mountain or jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft) and the second is I’d hate to be the guys that have to ride on the back.
