LEGO F1 Ferrari Is Almost Better Than The Real Thing

This is one of the coolest Lego things yet. This LEGO Formula 1 Ferrari was built from 80,000 bricks to celebrate LEGO World in Amsterdam. According to the original poster the creator Leon Krijgsman was spotted crusing the street in the Ferrari. I gotta stop looking at this stuff because it’s really depressing just how uncreative I am. UGH! Wonder if it meets the new FIA standards…
F1 teams spent over $3 billion

While we knew Formula 1 racing was an expensive venture, leave it to the 2008/2009 edition of Formula Money to spell-out the jaw-dropping finances for us. According to their latest guide, the supporting cast will shell out over $3 billion this year in team resources — with Toyota dropping more than $445 million of it alone.
It Can’t Be That Hard To Drive An F1 Car Right?

Top Gear’s Richard Hammond gives it a go in a modern day 1,500 HP Williams Renault F1 race car. The challenge, to drive the F1 racer car for two laps around the Silverstone race track in England, without trashing the car. Given the level of sophistication of these cars today should be a simple task right? Not really. Even with traction control and all the other on board devices, Hammond still has trouble mastering the car, noting at one point that in a straight line it wasn’t too bad but in the corners he couldn’t think fast enough to react. Williams F1 Car Vs. BMW M5 - Wanna Guess Who Wins?

This was wickedly cool. Fifth Gear’s Tiff & Vicki race each other with Vicki driving a BMW M5 and Tiff in a Williams Formula 1 race car. Both cars have v-10 engines, 7 speed gear boxes and a top speed over 200 mph. Think you know who wins? Check out the video to find out, it’s not even close.
