Gears Of War 2 Sound Effects
Here’s a neat video talking about what goes into making the sounds that will be in the new Gears of War 2 releasing Nov. 7th. I think it’d be really fun working on a project like this sometime.
An interesting factoid is that 85% of the audio in the game is new, according to Audio Director Mike Larson. There’s also a brief interview with the game’s composer, Steve Jablonsky, who did the music for Command & Conquer 3 and the Transformers movie.

Final Fantasy XIII Trailer
Man I can’t wait for this game to get here. Final Fantasy is making the jump to the XBOX 360 and it’s look freaking sweet. Here’s the new trailer filled with all kinds of wickedly cool scenes and a kick ass sound track. Yeah, I can’t wait.
