Playing Golf With Tiger Woods And Michael Jordan
So one of the perks of what I do is that from time to time you get to hang out with some really famous people. Today was one of those days. The Wachovia PGA Tournament is in town this weekend and today was the Pro-Am. Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan were paired together with a 7:30am tee time and yours truly got to follow them around the course for the day.
Ok, so maybe I’m embellishing just a little bit, but because of what I do we did score tickets to the event and we did get to follow them two around all day, albeit from behind the ropes along with everyone else. It was still a pretty cool deal, I’ve never been to a golf tournament before but seeing Tiger in person strike the ball, even on what amounted to a practice day for him was amazing and that basketball player is no slouch either. Being in Charlotte, the fan favorite was Michael Jordan and Tiger seemed really cool with it. I do have to say though, that TV has nothing on watching Tiger tee off when going for? a super long drive. The connection between his club and the ball sounds like a .22 caliber rifle being fired and compared to the other players, is very loud.
I got a ton of sweet pictures and thought I’d post a few for you golfers out there, I also got a few nice shots of some quarterback that apparently won the Super Bowl this year (wink).
