If your highly anticipating this game, as many are, then you’ll be glad to note that Microsoft and Bungie Studios have expanded the beta. Currently the only way to be a part of the highly coveted beta program is to register on the Halo 3 web site and hope for the best. Microsoft says the first 13,333 Halo 2 players to register for the “Rule of Three” program on the Halo 3 web site in early February or those that purchase specially marked copies of “Crackdown”, in stores Feb. 20, will be able to receive invitations to participate in the pre-release.

Also of note on the Halo 3 front, those that have currently registered for the beta via the web site should be contacted sometime this month. In the meantime, if your one of the few that haven’t seen the commercial that’s aired on television promoting the new game, check out the video after the jump.
