Bungie Reveals PRO Video Renderer

Team Bungie recently announced that in the not too distant future, Bungie PRO subscribers (who pay 750 MS points a year) will have the ability to take their Halo 3 film clips and render them into WMV through Bungie.net. Wowza! Specifics including resolution, how it functions and its rollout haven’t been announced yet, but keep your eyes peeled. More on the Bungie PRO video renderer.

Mercury Mistress

Love Your Car - video powered by Metacafe

This looks like a skit that SNL did. All I can say is it’s pretty damn funny. Although the folks at Merury probably don’t think it’s funny but it’s still funny.

Ferrari F430 Scuderia - 510hp Of Pure Machine

You gotta love Ferrari’s and the F430 Scuderia is no exception. It’s sleek designs and Formula derived aerodynamics coupled with 510hp just makes you go hmmmm….. The question is though, is it faster than the Enzo. Top Gear put it to the test, watch the video to find out how it went.

Who’s afraid of the big bad bat? KAPOOOOW!!! Coming fall 2008. Oh yeah, I’m all about that.

From Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games: “A stampede of notorious criminals have busted out of ARKHAM ASYLUM, where GOTHAM CITY houses only the shadiest of characters. It?s up to the famed CAPED CRUSADER to sweep Gotham clean of criminal activity using everything at his disposal, including crime-fighting vehicles as well as several baddie-bashing gadgets.”

Call Of Duty 4 Ragtime Warfare Quenches The Need For Target Practice

With all the hype surrounding the recent launch of Halo 3 there’s not been a whole lot mentioned about Call of Duty 4. It’s a pretty cool game and unlike Halo 3 doesn’t require that I run out an buy a new system to play it. Although, if your running on 6 month old hardware you might have too (that was a joke for you slow people). Here’s a video of some game footage done to a Ragtime musical setting. Watching it makes me want to get int he game and shoot something. C-Ya!

iGroan: New Yorkers Groan About iPhone Policies

IntoTheBox.tv spent some time talking to New yorkers about their cellphones and how they use them. A good deal of it surrounded the iPhone and the policies that have recently been implemented. The video clip talks to a couple people about how they feel about Apple forcing them to use a credit card to purchase a phone in order to track what they are doing with it (ie: trying to deter unlocking). The opinions are about what you’d expect but it always interesting to get the perspective from your Average Joe off the street. Check it out, what’s your opinion, do you agree or disagree with the points presented in the clip?

Starcraft 2 Video Preview

With the hype of Halo 3 dying down it’s time to turn our attention to the next big thing in the gaming world, at least my gaming world anyway. Starcraft 2 is coming, when, nobody seems to know exactly. Blizzard has said they intend to take as long as they need to get it developed, which is fine with me, I hate buggy games. I can’t wait for this one to release, more so than Halo 3, because I’ll actually play Starcraft 2, which means the blog will be dead for a fews when that happens. Until then, here’s a single player demo video to give you an idea of what’s in store.

Halo 3 Sucks Video

Spoiler alert, if you’d rather wait until you have game in hand to find out all the gory details of the new Halo 3 game then you might want to skip this video. Some “dudes” managed to get their hands on an advance (pirated) copy of the final game and put together this goofy video of a bunch of the in game stuff we haven’t seen yet. Lots of “Halo 3 Sucks” commentary in the background too. I’d say they were drunk but I didn’t realize nerds knew how to drink.

YouTube ordered to shutdown!!

YouTube

Makes for a snappy headline doesn’t it? So the jist of this story is somewhere in Brazil some video buff (ok. paparazzi) snagged some film of a couple “getting physical” on a beach and posted it on YouTube. The video was of model Daniela Cicarelli, ex to spanish football player Ronaldo, and her apparent new boyfriend. They sued YouTube to have the video removed to which YouTube complied and removed some copies, but we all know how these things go. If it makes good fodder then it will be posted a hundred times a hundred different ways.

Is this news? Not really but it drags on and on in circles until recently when the couple files suit again “requesting that YouTube be shut down as long as the video is available to users”. This time a Brazilian court agreed and according to a clerk the court had “ordered the popular video sharing service … to be shut down until it removes a celebrity sex video from its site”.
